Thousands of people marched in Dublin city centre today in a “Rally for Truth and Civil Rights”, opposing vaccine passports and another Covid lockdown.
Organiser Diarmaid O’Cadhla said that civil rights needed to be protected and common sense restored or the government would “railroad through” further restrictions.
Crowds gathered at the Garden of Remembrance before marching down O’Connell St and then gathering for speech at the GPO.
As they marched, some were critical of the legacy media who they said were ignoring opposition to the Covid lockdowns. “Where is RTE?”, they chanted.
At the GPO, the crowd sang “we will not comply” before hearing speeches urging against further lockdowns and vaccine passports.
