From the Irish Independent early this morning: “Enoch Burke remained at liberty last night despite multiple attempts by gardaí to execute an order by the High Court returning him to prison for contempt.”
“Remained at liberty”? Is Enoch Burke on the run now? This saga has become both utterly ridiculous and the stuff of legend. Posses of Gardaí are saddling up, or at least clambering into paddy waggons, to find the man. All we’re short of is wanted posters and bounty hunters.
