Readers may or may not be aware of the current controversy engulfing British titan of fantasy literature, Neil Gaiman, who in recent days has been dropped by a major publisher – Dark Horse Comics – as a result of allegations of sexual assault and misbehaviour made against him since last summer.
The substance of those allegations has yet to be established, but they’re doing what allegations of this nature always do in high-profile cases and making Gaiman a pariah. Dark Horse Comics said that it “takes seriously” the allegations and therefore won’t be publishing his works any longer. Meanwhile, publishers that Gaiman has previously worked with have reportedly said that they have no plans to release his books in the future.
