The families of a mother and three children killed in a 2015 motorway crash have urged the public to stop using their phones whilst driving after a lorry driver using his phone to change music ploughed into their car.

The car was almost stationery on a busy motorway in the south of England when the 30-year-old driver of an articulated lorry failed to stop due to the distraction of his phone.

He was jailed for 10 years at Reading Crown Court after pleading guilty to four deaths by dangerous driving and also causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
