A man has been arrested by Gardaí in connection with an aggravated burglary at a home in Forest Hills, Swords.
The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday this week.
Two men in their 30s were assaulted during the incident, when two individuals entered their rooms and threatened them with knives. The intruders stole their vehicle keys and other belongings.
Gardaí responded swiftly, with officers from Swords, Coolock, and Malahide searching the area.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene and is currently being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in North Dublin.
“Investigations are ongoing,” Gardaí said regarding the case.
