There are just too many crazy things happening in the world right now to keep up, but this morning my daughter made cinnamon buns, so all has righted itself a little again for some short time.
While appreciating the inimitable, incomparable flakiness and deliciousness of homemade pastries (yes, I did have two), I idly perused some of the research recently released by the Electoral Commission, partly because, as the same daughter pointed out, I am a hopeless geek, but also because sometimes polls can throw up interesting nuggets that make one gasp and stretch one’s eyes even when eating a cinnamon bun.
