A Lithuanian man who came to Ireland in the early 2000s has been jailed for raping a woman at knife point.
The Sunday World reported that Tomas Kleinas (48) of Victorine Abbey, Trim, Co. Meath pleaded guilty just before being put on trial for the rape of the woman.
The Trim nail salon owner inflicted injuries on the victim after tying her up and hitting her.
Dublin Central Criminal Court heard that Kleinas, who on social media refers to himself as “Mr. T” began to choke the woman in a bedroom as she held her baby after saying that he wanted to speak with her and locking the door of the house.
The victim indicated that she wanted Kleinas to be identified and for her own identity to be withheld.
As he choked the woman who said she was passing out, Kleinas said he would “f**kin kill the baby”.
Kleinas demanded that the woman stop the baby crying telling her that he hated her and the child.
After the woman put the 8-month-old infant to bed, Kleinas demanded that she remove her clothing and perform oral sex on him.
A 12-year-old child was also present in the house when Kleinas digitally penetrated the woman before raping her for the first time.
The court heard Kleinas brandished a knife and said he would smash the woman’s teeth in. The woman complained of pain in her eye area where she had been punched by him.

The incident was interrupted when the victim’s uncle came to the door hoping to come in for a cup of tea.
Kleinas ordered the woman to lie down and tied her limbs up. He also blindfolded her.
He then orally raped her before vaginally raping her again while her eyes were still covered.
The following day the victim reported what had happened to her to Gardaí and was examined at a sexual assault unit where the injuries on her body were found to be consistent with her telling of the events.
Kleinas denied the charges against him until just before the trial was due to start while the victim was on her way to Ireland.
The court heard that Kleinas was married twice before but that his second wife passed away due to illness and that his marriage to his first wife broke down sometime before he came to Ireland.
Ms Justice Mary Ellen Ring imposed a 13 year sentence noting that Kleinas has shown little remorse or empathy towards his victim.
The final two years were suspended with strict conditions.
