Enormous numbers have turned out for a protest in Hong Kong to mark six months of anti-government demonstrations that have caused chaos in the territory.
Protesters chanted “Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong,” as they thronged the city centre on Sunday.
Up to 800,000 people of all ages and walks of life took part in the march, seen as a show of support for the ongoing protests as the Chinese-supported government crack down hard on pro-democracy demonstrators.
