In both cases, everyone involved is waiting for war exhaustion to do their job for them. And in both cases, everyone involved might have a long time to wait.
There are those who will say that yesterday’s ruling that the school should in essence deal with its own problem is some kind of victory for Mr. Burke.
In all of this, Mr. Burke’s conduct could be described as courageous. But none of it could be described as wise.
