Gardaí investigating the death of a man in his 30s in Bray, County Wicklow, have today arrested four additional individuals and executed seven search warrants.
The latest arrests include a male juvenile, two men in their 20s, and one man in his 30s. These individuals are now detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Garda Stations across the Wexford/Wicklow Division. This brings the total number of arrests in the case to six, following the detention of two men on Monday, aged in their 20s and 40s.
Seven searches were carried out under warrant earlier today as part of the investigation, which continues to expand in scope. Gardaí have not disclosed specific details about the results of the searches but have confirmed their significance to the case.
The Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation (GNBCI) is now assisting local officers.
A post-mortem examination on the deceased, who died following the incident in Bray on Sunday, is set to be conducted today by State Pathologist Dr. Sally Anne Collis at Whitehall morgue in Dublin. The results are expected to provide critical information for the direction of the investigation.
Gardaí completed a full technical examination of the scene yesterday, with the cordon now lifted.

“Shortly after 6:00 p.m. [on Sunday], Gardaí and emergency services responded to an incident on Boghall Road, Bray where a man was found with serious injuries and unresponsive,” the Gardaí said in a statement over the weekend.
“He was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel but was pronounced deceased a short time later.”
