On September 28, three days ago, an engineer employed by South Dublin County Council (SDCC) was to have completed a “visual validation inspection” that would confirm that all of the 29 unauthorised structures at a site in Brittas, county Dublin, had been demolished or deconstructed.
The developer of the site, Branach Developments and the owners the McDermotts were under a strict timeline set last June by High court Justice Richard Humphreys to have that work completed by September 21.
