You Can Cook Too 10 – Kulfi

Patricia shows us how to make Kulfi – a delicious, sweet Indian desert which will drive your cholesterol through the roof.

She pairs it with Ravi Shankar and the Beatles on their song, Within You Without You.


Kulfi

4 servings

1 (14-ounce) can evaporated milk

1 cup heavy cream

1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk 2 teaspoons ground cardamom

1/2 cup ground pistachio nuts

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, stir together evaporated milk, cream, condensed milk, cardamom, and pistachios. Pour into moulds or alternatively into a dish. Freeze overnight. Mix as it freezes as the nuts rise to the top.

2. Before serving, dip the moulds or the scoop in warm water to make removing the frozen dessert easier. Garnish with more crushed pistachios.
