A man in his 20s is due before the courts this morning following his arrest yesterday, at which a number of suspected petrol bombs were seized.
His arrest and the seizure of several “improvised explosive devices” yesterday came as part of ongoing investigations targeting organised criminal activity in north Dublin.
Gardaí attached to Coolock Garda Station, in cooperation with the Armed Support Unit, carried out a search of a residential property in Balgriffin, Dublin 13, at approximately 10.30am, October 28.
A number of suspected petrol bombs were recovered.
The man has since been charged and is expected to appear before Dublin District Court this morning.
Investigations are ongoing, according to Gardaí.
