The Community Engagement Team of the Department of Justice provided a briefing yesterday for South Dublin County Council on incidents that had taken place around the Citywest asylum transit hub last weekend.
Saggart residents and local business people told Gript that Friday night saw a large group of men, who are staying in the Convention Centre on the now State-owned Citywest Campus, involved in fighting and other disturbances in the Convention Centre from which it seems they were asked to leave.
