A Dublin father of four, who told his disabled mother that he would burn her “to a crisp” has been sentenced to two years in jail.
Thomas Whelan (30) of Belfair Crescent Ballymun, Dublin 11 appeared before the Circuit Criminal Court this afternoon on charges of assault causing harm, and making threats to kill in respect of the events of the 26th of November 2024.
