By this time next week, COP 30 will be in full swing. This year’s great climate excursion for the world’s great and the good will be held in Belem, a city just about the size of Dublin that is located on the north-east coast of Brazil. It is nice that our environmentalist betters are getting a nice trip to somewhere sunny and pleasant, because the summit itself is likely to be a disaster.
