Can you hear the mutterings? The murmurings? The rumours of widespread discontent with Micheál Martin’s leadership of Fianna Fáil? Because those, my friends, are very real. Spend more than 15 minutes with a sober Fianna Fáiler, or 3 minutes with a drunk one, and you’ll hear them for yourself.
Fianna Fáil TDs and Senators are unhappy with Mr. Martin’s leadership. There is nothing new in that. What is new is that over the past few days, some of them have been actively thinking about maybe, possibly, convening a meeting to potentially consider whether it might be feasible to perhaps at some point consider doing something about it.
