Former senior Labour advisor, and general watchdog against Bad Opinions, Fergus Finlay opined in the Irish Examiner this week that he didn’t know whether those who were campaigning to Spoil the Vote were were “loonies or something more sinister”.
Nothing unexpected there, I suppose. A high-ranking member of Labour, the party which has managed to reduced its support to record lows in recent times, questioning people’s sanity or their integrity if they want to protest this charade of a Presidential election.
