If there’s one phrase that the pro-open-borders NGOS and their many pro-establishment water-carriers hate, its the description of those who rock up to Ireland’s chaotic asylum system without identification as being “unvetted”.
Yet it is the phrase that immediately comes to mind on reading about the dreadful case this week of a man from Nigeria who is accused of dragging his unfortunate elderly grandmother down the stairs by the hair – an assault which allegedly led to her death – and who entered the country, Gardaí believe, on a false passport.
