Gardaí have launched an urgent appeal for a teenage boy missing from Westmeath since last weekend.
13-year-old Fergus Harty has been missing from Ballymore, Westmeath, since Saturday, the 4th of January.
The youth is described as being approximately five foot eight inches in height, and of a slim build.
He has brown hair and brown eyes.
It is unknown what Fergus was wearing on the day he went missing.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information on Fergus’ whereabouts to contact them.
A Garda spokesperson said, “Gardaí are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 13-year-old Fergus Harty, who is reported missing from Ballymore, Co. Westmeath, since Saturday 4 January”.
“Anyone with information on Fergus’s whereabouts is asked to contact Athlone Garda Station on 090 649 2600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
