Information that has become available to Gript confirms that a Zimbabwean national who was issued with a deportation order in July 2025 is not only still in the state but is currently employed as an accountant with De Paul, one of main Approved Housing Bodies.
Gript has confirmed the man’s name but is legally prohibited from publishing it because of the provisions of the International Protection Act 2026, introduced by Minister Jim O’Callaghan, which prevent asylum seekers from being identified.
