369 elderly people died in Irish nursing homes in January, bringing the total number of nursing homes deaths since the outbreak to over 1,500.
The rate of first dose vaccination in Northern Ireland is now six times greater per head of adult population.
“I do actually find it inexcusable that staff on nursing homes or those roles would not take the vaccine, to be frank.”
