A Fine Gael MEP has claimed that the National Women’s Council fails to represent all women, arguing that the organisation only speaks for “the women that agree with them.”
In an exchange with Gript this week, Dublin MEP Regina Doherty said that publicly funded NGOs are not “above scrutiny” and called for complete financial transparency among non-governmental organisations.
