As concerns over the scale of the current Ebola (Bundibugyo) outbreak which originated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo grow, India has joined the United States and Canada among major countries to tighten up on travel restrictions.
On Monday, the Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda ordered that there be enhanced screening at airports, seaports, and land borders. India is also part of international efforts to ensure that there are greater resources on the ground in the impacted areas to help in assisting those infected.
