Conor McGregor has broken his silence after a video emerged of him punching an older man in a Dublin pub, telling ESPN that the man, “deserved to enjoy his time in the pub without having it end the way it did. Although, five months ago it was, I tried to make amends. And I made amends back then. That doesn’t even matter, I was in the wrong.”
Speaking to the Irish Daily Star, the victim at the centre of the incident labelled McGregor “a bully with money”, and said, “I can take a punch. It was sore for about a week.”
Gardaí are investigating the incident at the Drimnagh pub.
