It’s hard to know what’s more embarrassing: giving “Marxist” critiques of culture beyond the age of 21, or thinking that said critiques are edgy because you dare to voice them on the Irish State broadcaster, as if it’s a taboo subject that one is likely to get in trouble for when raising.
This week, 40-year-old “Blindboy Boatclub” committed both offences for us in his new RTÉ documentary, and rest assured, the cringe is rated “E” for Everyone.
