This morning, RTÉ reported that US President Donald Trump plans to impose tariffs on pharmaceutical products, specifically targeting Ireland alongside China as major suppliers of vital medicines to America.
Trump, aiming to “bring the pharmaceutical industry back to the US,” remarked: “Ireland was very smart. We love Ireland. But we’re going to have that.”
