Tilda Collins is seeking to raise money to fund cosmetic surgery on her nose having been born with no nasal bone.
The 20-year-old who lives in the UK started a GoFundMe appeal after she says a cosmetic surgeon in Beverly Hills, California agreed to perform the surgery.
Having had multiple surgeries since childhood she says US based surgeon Dr. Paul S. Nassif feels he “can make a big difference” to help her nose look “normal.”
Tilda – who is a member of the travelling community – says the cost of the procedure as well as travel and aftercare will be “around” £60,000.
Sharing photos of herself as a child on the GoFundMe page, the young woman emphasised how much pressure she says there is on traveller girls “to look perfect”.
“I don’t want to look perfect I just wanna look normal so please I’m asking I’m begging to help me raise this money for my surgery,” said Tilda.
“I’m begging [people] to help me raise this money for my surgery.” she said.
So far Tilda’s appeal has raised a total of £25,424 from over 500 donations.
