If you look closely at the video of Fatima Gunning at the point where there is a sound of a sharp thud and the man goes down, a few seconds after that you can make out feet kicking him.
Riot police are not meant to beat up people. Maybe move people on, but not kick their victim with their strong boots, when the victim is on the ground with damaged eyes. They are not meant to pepper spray identified journalists. They are not meant to walk up the paths of private properties and pepper spray the innocent inhabitants.
The riot police person on the right of another video was very liberal with his spraying and at a very short distance to his victim. He continued spraying. Surely one spray in the eyes is enough to have effect?
Can a case be taken against these faceless perpetrators? It would be nice to see them unmasked in a court room.

They need to be prosecuted. People that physically attack Irish people will face the full force of the law. Those men in garda uniforms deserve prison time.

The journalist had no press badge on display or anything else to identify her as a journo. Just saying you are is not going to wash with any police force the world over..get real on this point!

Journalists, wear your ID when reporting in the field!.

I didn’t realise she wasn’t wearing her badge.
Though by coming in the middle of the night I doubt if they would have been able to see it.

Can the tea boy or mr mi5 tell us which protocol was followed by kicking a defenseless man on the ground or firing pepper spray at a defenseless woman. In the words of the tea boy, shame on you. There are some cowards clearly working in the black n tans to do that.

Tipp fm should be a national radio station doing a great service to the people just like gript.ie

Would you support a decision by Ireland to copy the UK's "Rwanda Plan", under which asylum seekers are sent to the safe - but third world - African country instead of being allowed to remain here?
