Czech authorities have activated investigatory proceedings under EU law against Meta in Dublin demanding that Coimisiún na Meán investigate whether Meta arbitrarily censors Facebook and Instagram accounts through their Dublin offices.
In a statement dated September 24th, the Czech Telecommunications Office (ČTÚ) formally invoked Article 58 of the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA) asking Coimisiún na Meán to examine how Meta mediates on content removal.
