UPDATE: Gardai have issued a statement confirming that Daisy Hall has been located safe and well, and apparently unharmed, in Dublin City Centre. Original story below.
The Gardaí have issued a Child Rescue Alert after a vehicle with a 5-month-old baby girl was hijacked from the Gardiner Street area of Dublin at approximately 1:50pm today, Monday 23rd of September.
The 5-month-old was in the back of a Silver Nissan Qashqai Hatchback, registration number 10-D-21328.
An Garda Síochána say they are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of the baby girl and now “have serious concerns that there is an immediate and serious risk to the health or welfare of Daisy.”
At Approximately 1:50pm Gardaí received report of a hijacking of a vehicle, a Silver Nissan Qashqai Hatchback, registration number 10-D-21328, from Mountjoy Square, in Dublin 1.
Gardaí say the car was hijacked by a man “who is not known to” the baby or her family.”
The baby was in the car when it was taken and was wearing a pink cardigan with ladybugs, pink
headband with a white daisy flower, blue denim leggings and pink Ugg boots.
She is dressed as she appears in the photograph featured in this article.
The car involved in the incident has a sticker on the back with baby onboard. A sticker with 2 baby feet on bottom right hand side of back window. A yellow & red ribbon on rear view mirror.

Gardaí say the car also has a dog cage in the boot which “may be visible”.
The last sighting of this vehicle was in the MountjoySquare area. An Garda Síochána say they are not aware of the vehicle or
whereabouts at this time.
Anyone with information is urged to report any information or sighting by calling 999/112. Gardaí have also urged members of the public not to approach the vehicle should they find it.
