Actor James Martin (An Irish Goodbye) is named as Outstanding Newcomer at the RTS Ireland Television Awards 2023.
Tonight at a gala event in Galway, hosted by Caitlín Nic Aoidh and Cormac Ó hEadhra, the RTS Ireland committee presented an Outstanding Newcomer Award in recognition of emerging screen talent who have made an impact on audiences this year.
This year’s Outstanding Newcomer Award was presented to an actor who has made his mark on both Irish and International audiences this year, through his excellent portrayal of his characters on screen. His latest work includes the role of Danny Armstrong in Netflix / ITV series Marcella and his portrayal of Lorcan in the Oscar Winning best Short Film An Irish Goodbye.
