The recent and unprecedented sight of the ever-dapper Michael Healy-Rae decrying the political misstep of his elder brother, has the media and residents of the Leinster House bubble abuzz with a mix of voyeuristic glee and novel sympathy.
Nowhere of course did the perpetually be-capped Michael use the word ‘foolish’, but he didn’t have to, did he? Not when you publicly make it clear that a senior sibling firing his mouth off caused you to lose a ministerial gig that you were very attached to and, by general consensus, quite good at.
