A State-funded NGO that has received over €750,000 from George Soros’ Open Societies Foundations is urging the Department of Justice to “scrap” proposed stricter citizenship rules.
In an email sent to supporters, Migrant Rights Centre Ireland director Neil Bruton stated that the organisation was “deeply concerned” by potential reforms to the naturalisation process.
