I put up a post on X a few days ago where I talked about why it might be a good idea to separate boys and girls in schools, such a separation, I suggested, being better on the whole for both girls and boys. To my surprise, what I took to be a relatively anodyne post generated quite a reaction, most of which was supportive of the point that I was making while a small number of Xers accused me of being a closet Muslim and/or a supporter of the Taliban!
