Minister for Education, Helen McEntee, is being criticised after she posted a video talking up a proposed National Convention on Education and encouraging input from all and sundry without mentioning the primary caregivers of the children being educated: us parents.
Here’s what she posted on X : “I want us to have a nationwide conversation around education. I am establishing a National Convention on Education & want to hear from students, teachers, school staff, the public, and other stakeholders about what they want to see our eduction [sic] system look like into the future.”
