The fun thing about this job is that you’re never quite sure what you’ll be writing about from one day to the next. For example, if you had told me on Monday that by midweek I’d be having to write about the bosom of the Molly Malone statue at the bottom of Dublin’s Grafton Street, I’d not quite have believed you.
Nor, it appears, would the fine folk at Dublin City Council, who had to reassure media outlets while making the following announcement on Tuesday that it was “not an April Fool’s joke”.
