I may be in the minority here (sure what’s new) but I can’t be alone in thinking that Micheál Martin’s tittering sycophancy in response to Donald Trump’s assertion that our housing problems are a symptom of our success as a country was nothing short of abysmal.
If you think I’m being unfair, have a look at the exchange. During their Oval Office meeting, Trump was asked by a correspondent for the Irish Examiner if, given his experience as a businessmen, he could give the Taoiseach some advice on the housing crisis and on building houses at speed.
