When Newsweek ran an article over the weekend with the headline “Taylor Swift is not a good role model” I doubt they expected the blow-back it got. The general gist of the piece was that even though Swift had enjoyed extraordinary success and was extremely hard working, she has had a lot of partners over the years and remains single and childless at the age of 34. Thus, she is not a good role model for girls and young women.
