Government departments have spent just under €14 million on internet advertising over the past five years, with the Department of the Taoiseach spending nearly €3 million alone since 2019.
The figures that were released to Independent TD Carol Nolan following a series of parliamentary questions reveal a large disparity in the amounts different departments are spending on internet advertising.
