In a response to a PQ from Offaly Independent TD Carol Nolan, the Minister for Justice, Jim O’Callaghan, has stated that “there are over 900 people subject to deportation order residing in IPAS accommodation.”
Deputy Nolan had asked for that figure but also “the number being housed in private rental or State owned residential accommodation.”
