In what amounts to an extraordinary display of boastful arrogance, Time magazine last week published a long piece revealing how the Democrats beat Trump. To ensure Biden’s victory, the magazine explained that – and this is a real quote – “there was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes”, one that built an alliance which “got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding”, and much more.

The article was written by Molly Ball, who clearly revels in the kiss and tell, and who details how a collaboration between wealthy business moguls and progressive activists built “an extraordinary shadow effort” dedicated to defeating Trump.

As Jennifer Oliver O’Connell said on Red State on Saturday, Ball “revealed nothing that conservatives did not already know”. So the question is, why did they confirm it?

Well, there are a number of possible explanations. Firstly, the left simply cannot help themselves. As one person on Twitter put it, they like “rubbing people’s noses in it.” At the same time they are still banning and ridiculing anyone outside of their self-referential Temple of Sanctimony who questions the election.

And it is that word – sanctimony- which explains much of the arrogance. The liberal left believes that it is right, and therefore anything it does is justified. A rainbow packaged revamp of the old, totalitarian, maxim that the “Ends Justify the Means.”
So, what did they do? Well, Ball tells the story of how Mike Polhorzer of the American Federation of Labor/CIO motivated the Democrats, funded by vast amounts of corporate money, to organise “an informal alliance between left wing activists and business titans.”

The left side of the alliance was represented by the unions, Greenpeace, Planned Parenthood, Invisible and Move On, amongst others, and, the report says, “drew energy from the summer’s racial-justice protests.” (Those protests, of course, also expended a lot of energy smashing, burning and looting the businesses of ordinary people if memory serves.)

The corporate ‘Never Trump ‘neo-cons in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, were joined in the action against Trump by the unions, and the push was funded by woke and neo-con capital.

The objective shared by the neocons, far left, woke big tech and the “military industrial complex” was simple. Stop Trump, but more importantly, defeat the huge grassroots movement that Trump, in some ways inadvertently, had created against all of the worst elements in American society.

The aim of the collaboration was to ensure that the electoral process was skewed in favour of the Democrats. This was all dressed up as efforts to “protect the election” but that is nonsense. And, in the Time article, they let the mask slip at several times, because they really cannot help themselves.

Here are some key statistics: Almost half of the votes counted were mail-in ballots, an unprecdented number which amounted to “a revolution in how people vote” according to Time. Only a quarter of those who voted did so on election day itself. Well, so what you say? Given Covid and all the rest and modern tech etc, etc, surely it is a good thing that voting moves with the times?

But if mail in voting had been expected to help, not hurt, Trump, do we think this same concern for democracy would have been displayed? Trump did not help his own cause, needless to say, by repeatedly telling his own supporters not to vote by mail, but his instincts when he saw this massive expansion of mail voting – that it was a conspiracy to defeat him – have now been vindicated.

Mark Zuckerburg’s foundation channelled an eye-watering $400 million through the Center for Tech and Civic Life to help local election officials handle – and encourage or “bolster” – postal ballots. Chester County in Pennsylvania received $2.5 million of those funds for the election – a larger sum than the county had for its entire 2020 voting services. The county came in strongly for Joe Biden – he nearly doubled Clinton’s margin in 2016.

Secondly, the organisers of the mail-ins claim to have sent out millions and millions of unsolicited  ballots. In many states, this is simply against the rules. For example, in Harris County, Texas, the Democrats who run the Government attempted to send ballot papers to every single household, in direct contravention of state law. That this was against the law did not matter – “voting expansion” simply cannot be questioned. It is “good”, and therefore simple things like the law do not matter.
As indeed anyone who has ever been involved in an election or referendum here will know, people die, move, and so on.

That’s the reason the requirement for identification and only getting postal votes under very strict conditions exist. Democrats sought to ignore this – and that indisputably lowers the barriers to fraud. As one recent election in the north proved, even that limited system is open to abuse, and the party responsible has quite close ties through current staff and “friends” from the Democratic Party.

Podhorzer, a typical trade union bureaucrat with minimal connection or affinity to the people who pay his salary or think they do maybe, was particularly energised by the fact that Trump had, uniquely for a Republican post-Reagan, taken a massive slice of the “blue collar” vote in 2016.

But even his unholy alliance’s efforts to censor, confuse and disenfranchise them still seemed to have come unstuck on election day, when the Trump vote hit 74 million, vastly more than any other incumbent had ever received before.

That, as Ball recounts, led to some panic on the part of the puppet masters on election day. Other than Podhorzer who assured them that it would turn around when the mail ins were counted!

That aside, one of the key leftists involved, Angela Peoples of the Orwellian titled Democracy Protection Coalition told Ball that in the midst of the fear that Trump might have beaten them again: “We wanted to be mindful of when was the right time to call for moving masses of people into the street.”

Ball had already referred to the “summer uprising” and how the organisers of that violence were not only part of Podhorzer’s coalition, but that “the left was ready to flood the streets.”

So, it is evident that had Trump won, or had the challenges to the manner in which the election was conducted in key states proceeded, that the leftist pawns of the Democrats were ready to reignite the cities in anarchy and mayhem. The coup that started on inauguration day, January 2017, was not going to be stalled at that late stage.

And just in case anyone might think that 2020 will be an anomaly, the first substantial Democrat pieces of legislation are House of Representatives Bill 1 and Senate Bill 1. Their purpose? To set in stone the Democratic Party 2020 way to run an election.

The Bills components include provisions for mandatory mail ins, ballots without postmarks indicating dates, late ballots, and ballots from people no longer living in the precincts where they live. Tammany Hall for all times. Oh, and anyone who questions any of this, or dares to try and challenge outcomes legally will themselves be subject to possible criminal sanctions.

Also proposed is automatic voter registration whereby anyone who is part of a state database in put on the electoral register when they are 18. When this was hinted at here through connecting voter registration to PPS numbers, it was rightly taken apart on the basis of the scope for fraud which it would facilitate.

And just in case those targeted through the Democrat analytics are still not bothered, then the new legislation will allow activists not only to collect ballots but to “assist” in filling them in. Indeed, there was video evidence of how this was used on social media prior to November.

Social media of course was a key element. In the name of “fighting disinformation,” the alliance encouraged censorship and banning while spreading their own lies like there was no tomorrow. We’re told by Time that in November 2019, Mark Zuckerberg had dinner with nine ‘civil rights leaders’ – all anti-Trump no doubt –  where they pushed him to ensure “more rigorous rules and enforcement” of what they saw as misinformation. Similar meetings were held with Jack Dorsey of Twitter.

The false statements made by leading Democrats – including Michelle Obama – about Trump throwing children “in cages” at the border, when the facilities she was referring to were built during the Obama-Biden administration, were not taken down by Zuckerburg or Dorsey of course. There are many such examples, including the pincer movement by Facebook and Twitter to shut down damaging revelations printed in the New York Post about Hunter Biden. The censorship, it seems, only went one way.

One of the main movers in that assault on free speech which is ongoing was the Clinton spawned Move On, and one of the organisers of the social media fatwa was Vanita Gupta, formerly of the American Civil Liberties Union.

She has been nominated for the post of Associate Attorney General by Biden. Others, including Republican anti-Trumpers will be suitably rewarded.

Opponents of the unhealthy coalition in Ireland of the liberal and far left which now embraces the government and main opposition parties and “anarchists” and “republicans” and “communists” on the state payroll through state funded NGOs, will know what all this is about.

We saw evidence of it in the manner in which the opposition to abortion was shut down and sidelined during the referendum on the 8th. We have seen ongoing evidence of it in the assault on civil liberties and free speech since.

For those on the left; reflect on this: One of the definitions of 1930s fascism by Marxists was that it constituted an alliance between the state, big business, and street thugs.

Which side are you on? In Chicago or Cork, Dublin or Detroit, the enemy is the same.

The illustration accompanying the article in Time showed the alliance between big business, capitalists and the progressive left to oust Trump
