A huge row has engulfed the Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre, after a report found that its actions had caused “damage” to survivors and had a strategy “which did not put survivors first”.
Mridul Wadhwa, who calls himself a trans woman, resigned as chief executive of Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre after an independent review commissioned by Rape Crisis Scotland (RCS) concluded that he had failed to behave professionally while in charge of Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC).
