A man arrested after a deadly shooting which led 6 people dead in the northern German town of Stade yesterday was a Turkish national born in Germany who was involved a custody dispute, and was known to police for making threats, but had not been regarded as “particularly violent”.
A woman (65) who is alleged to have driven a getaway car and is believed to have “a close connection to the gunman’s family” is also being detained by police and being questioned.
