A 26-year-old man has been charged with dangerous driving in connection with a serious incident in Skerries over the weekend.
This morning, Monday, Seán McGlone, of Beechwood Drive, Drogheda, was brought before Balbriggan District Court in connection with the incident in Harbour Road, Skerries on Saturday night.
He had been arrested by Gardaí at 6pm yesterday in relation to the charges.
Gardaí said in relation to that incident that they had responded to calls to Emergency Services from onlookers who had been alarmed after “a large number of youths gathered and an altercation broke out”.
“During the course of the incident, a car drove at a number of people,” An Garda Síochana said.
Three teenagers – two female and one male – were taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment with non-life-threatening injuries after the incident.

The court heard that McGlone was employed in Duleek, Co Louth and travelled nationwide as a van driver for work.
A bail bond of 5,000 euro was set with a cash lodgement of 1,000 euro to be made.
