A preponderance of my readers, I suspect, are in a very rare category of citizen: The informed voter.
What makes an informed voter? Well, chances are you know how your local TDs voted on the Hate Speech Bill, can name twelve of fifteen members of the cabinet, and know the difference between Independent Ireland and Independent candidate for Ireland South if you read those two things on two different leaflets. Judging by the comments (and I do read them all) generally posted below, many of you know who Klaus Schwab is, or have an idea what the World Economic Forum does. You are, I’m afraid to say, a weirdo by the standards of normal people if you can do all of these things. And if you’re one of his opponents, Simon Harris is going to try and beat you by making you appear like a weirdo while he – the biggest political nerd of them all, it should be said – is the normal everyday bloke.
