By the time you’re reading this, RTE will have aired its documentary about events in Coolock.
I’m writing this before it airs, in the knowledge that I won’t be watching it either way, for the simple reason that I do not trust RTE to be fair to all parties. Perhaps they will prove me wrong, but I doubt it. The other reason, of course, is that I could both script it and pick the guests myself: The disinformation expert. The local activist posing as a concerned resident. The subjects of the documentary treated as feral creatures only fit to be observed, never interviewed formally.
