Only one of the people publicly identified as having been charged or sought in connection with the eight cases involving the violent deaths of women in Ireland so far this year has been Irish.
In one of the eight cases, a suspect has not been identified. But in all other seven cases, an Irish person is only charged or being sought by Gardaí in just one.
