As the war in Ukraine drags on through a fourth year, the numbers of refugees from that country who are under Temporary Protection in EU states increased slightly to the end of May.Â
There are now 4,380,755 Ukrainian Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTP) who have been given asylum in the 27 member states, of whom 120,180 have been granted protection by the Irish state.Â
