A Dublin businessman who had his right leg amputated above the knee after a motorbike collision in Malahide has told a court the crash “altered every aspect” of his life, and that he was forced to wait almost three years for the driver to accept responsibility.
Matthew Shaw-Cotterill was riding home from work on the 21st of August 2023 when a silver Renault Clio turned right across his path, hitting him and knocking him off his bike.
